Terms & Conditions

Our services are intended for school students. Bookings and payments must be made by a parent, guardian or another adult who is at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract on the student’s behalf.

You agree to provide true, current and complete information when you enquire, book a trial or register for classes, and to keep it up to date so we can match the right tutor and contact you.

You agree to use our website and services only for lawful purposes and not to misuse them, disrupt them, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems.

SmartEDU provides online one-to-one and small-group tutoring aligned to the Cambridge, Edexcel, AQA and OCR exam boards. A free trial lesson is offered before any paid enrolment. We aim to match a suitable tutor and confirm arrangements within 24 hours, but timings are estimates and may vary.

Prices for our lesson packages are shared with you directly on request and confirmed before you pay. All prices are subject to change without prior notice, but any change will not affect a package you have already paid for.

Payments are not collected on this website. Once your package is agreed, we send you a secure PayHere payment link to complete payment. Payment card and banking details are handled by PayHere, our licensed payment provider — we never see or store your full card details. By completing a payment you confirm you are authorised to use the payment method and consent to being charged the agreed amount, including any applicable taxes or fees.

We may decline or cancel a booking at our discretion — for example, where information appears inaccurate, where we cannot provide a suitable tutor, or where we suspect fraud or misuse. Lesson rescheduling and cancellation are handled in line with the arrangements confirmed with you. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

All content on this website and in our lessons and materials — including text, graphics, logos and resources — is the property of SmartEDU (Pvt) Ltd or its licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or resell it without our written permission.

We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, SmartEDU is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or services.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with its “Last updated” date.

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
